Born Davien Garrey Nicola, Caitian Baby is a 20-year-old artist from Palm Beach County, Florida
who blends rap and melodic vocals to tell real stories about love, heartbreak, and everything in between. His music comes from experience—raw, honest, and sometimes messy—but always true. Whether it’s a late-night drive or a moment you can’t shake, he make songs for people who feel deeply and aren’t afraid to sit with it.
Growing up, Caitian Baby made music every day. He first started making songs on a phone his grandmother bought him at the age of seven, but would make up songs in his head at just six years old. From eight to nine years old, he used laptop speakers and gaming mics to record music, and at ten years old his uncle gave him a microphone and a pair of headphones to use. He worked on music every day slowly getting better, working on different genres, and also buying newer equipment as well. He would go on to drop lots of music on Soundcloud throughout elementary and middle school, but would end up taking it down due to not liking the quality. Then one summer while in North Carolina he realized if wanted to be taken seriously he would have to go to a real studio like the mainstream artist do to get the sound he was looking for. At fourteen, he went to the studio for the first time and created “Chanel Queen” and “Pockets Full”. Over time he went to many different studios, but ultimately decided to go back to recording himself.
